I thought I knew soft,a downy pillow beneath my tired head,a teddy bear for a lonely child,a playful little puppy.....Then I felt your skin,and I realized how little I knew.I thought I knew warm,the sun on my back on a mid-summers day,a crackling fire on a cold winter night,home baked apple pie fresh out of the oven.....Then you touched me and I realized how little I knew.I thought I knew beauty,one thousand stars in a blackened sky,fire works on the Fourth of July,a spring flower in full bloom.....Then  I looked in your eyes and I realized how little I knew.I thought I knew a thrill,to win the race that meant so much,to ride a roller coaster from the top down,to play rock'n'roll for an appreciative crowd.....Then we kissed and I realized how little I knew.

Here I stand as though at the peek of the highest mountain gazing out into the lostness of the land below.I know that it is my own conquest.Pride and joy swell up inside me and I am strong.I turn my gaze upward,toward the sky,the stars,the sunand the moon.It reminds me how much there is and how far I have yet to go.And in all it's great infinity,I am very small,but I will not go alone.For even the over-welming passion I already feel for the world and for life itself can only be magnified when two become one.Twice the joy,twice the sorrow,twice the hope,twice the despair,twice the love.I stand before you naked,I bear no shield,no arms.I am blinded,trust is my only guide.Freely I spread my arms exposing my chestt,my heart.my soul.I am vunerable,I can be crushed in a single blow,but my weakness is my strength and trust is my only guide.            &nb sp;
