A lot of people today think your crazy if you hang out in chat rooms. The funny thing is most of these people saying this have never been in chat sites. And the people that were in them were usually the disruptive people that ended up getting banned. The truth of chat rooms depends on what you are there looking for. If you are there looking to meet a mate then chat rooms are great. Even if friends is all you seek then chat rooms are excellent places to meet people from all over the world. Chat rooms get a bad reputation these days because they can be easily abused. From my experience in chat is that five out ten people are usually there for the right reasons. The other five are there for foolishness. A lot of people that chat in chat rooms are usually regulars and know the people that hang out there regularly. Its like going to your favorite bar and knowing everyone there because your there all the time. Most communities have begun from chat rooms and have grown into massive numbers.I have met a lot of wonderful people from a chat room. I believe chatting gives you better social skills and in the end prepares you for better communication. All in all my suggestion to any that has taken any interest in checking out a chat is to just do it. You might be surprised at how nice it really is.
