Blog Entry: I saw your face, in the darkest of rooms It lit for me a path to your eyes Once I was there, nothing could remove them Something ached inside me Something wanted to reach out for you I knew not then but it was my heart Beyond the wall, beyond the cage that kept it entrapped Somehow your smile shone through They had crumbled into pieces into my hands I knew not when, I knew not why, but what I knew was that I was broken I looked at these pieces of what once was, and then looked to you Those eyes, on route from my heart to my soul They held me like none other, spun me from the downward spiral Into your arms, and there nothing could harm me To know I have had but a glimpse of you Our eyes met, and I was lost to the world, and found by you I saw the green haze of oblivion, and I knew I had fallen Oh what sweet addiction with no end in sight I am stronger, I am faster, I am aware I fall into sleep with dreams of you I awaken with thoughts of you Oh, those eyes, I only wish they kept upon me
